Dodge kid pissed Squid Game stole his AP idea

Dodge student, Mason Dick, Film Prod ‘23 plans to file a claim against Netflix for copyright infringement for recent Korean Netflix hit Squid Game, which Dick claims to have written for his Dodge AP Film. “Same thing happened with Lee Isaac Chung when Minari came out. I was put on probation for DKA when I was accused of stealing that one for my two-minute IP.”

Dick sources his inspiration for Squid Game (the AP) as something that “just came to him”. “I did watch an Instagram live responding to a video essay on a Roger Ebert review of the Hunger Games a few months back. Subconsciously, I probably wanted to refine the rough edges of that movie.”

While Dick is hesitant to dish out the details of his replacement AP, he coyly hinted at his new brainchild. It’s centered around two blue collar Italian brothers moonlighting as heroes on a journey to save a princess and defend their honor. On this, Dick says, “Yeah I’m thinking of giving Chris Pratt a call.”
